RESTAURANT BACH is located in Dusseldorf, Germany. It consists of two units – the restaurant and the brewery. The restaurant is part of a residential building and a hotel. The project envisaged a complete reconstruction of both units, giving the Bach restaurant a new identity. The idea was to create a pleasant environment, close to current users. By combining natural materials, colors and design details, the architect connected the elements of the restaurant’s long-standing tradition with a modern approach. Modular furniture was used, which opens up functional possibilities for organizing the space according to different needs. Rustic details made of walnut wood and brick give the interior a touch of German design. The brewery is dominated by industrial elements made of black steel, brick and natural oak. Although different ambiences have been achieved in accordance with the purpose, an individual can feel a strong interior connection between the two units – the restaurant and the brewery.
